OUR CHURCH
A family united in faith in Jesus Christ
We are a group of people who believe in Jesus and have committed our lives to serving Him. If you come to visit us in person, we hope you’ll see that we are just ordinary people following an extraordinary God; an extraordinary God who forgives our sins and gives us new life. He teaches us, leads us, and empowers us. He shows us real love and gives us love for each other. He equips us with all we need to serve Him and reach out to each other and our community. He gives us strength when times are tough, and in love, He is drawing people to Himself.
On Sundays, we meet together as one Church family. We cater to the needs of different groups of people including preschoolers (Kindle Creche), children (Spark Kids Church), and teenagers (Ignite). We also meet together in small groups at other times and venues during the week to study and discuss The Bible (God’s Word) and pray for one another. From time to time, we also get together for special occasions such as men’s and women’s events.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to bring glory to God, as we know and serve Jesus Christ. We desire for Him to be honoured and enjoyed, where His supremacy is displayed and to make him known to others. To do this, each Sunday we meet together with the aim to explain the Bible clearly, and to take into our heads and hearts what it says.
Furthermore, it is our desire to reach the world with the good news, that is the gospel of Jesus Christ. As God gathers His people He calls them to join in this same work, through prayer, love and proclamation. We are committed to taking the gospel in love to our neighbours and community. ‘For the Son of man came to seek and save the lost.’ (Luke 19:10)
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We are Protestant, Evangelical and Reformed
We believe that there is One God who is the Creator and Judge of the world. In the fullness of time, He has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the five ‘Solas’ (‘Alone’ statements):
We are saved by GRACE ALONE
Through FAITH ALONE
In CHRIST ALONE
As revealed by SCRIPTURE ALONE
To the glory of GOD ALONE
